About Us

The College, under the aegis of Swarajya Educational & Welfare Society, Agra, started B.Ed. course in 2003 near Tehra, 20 Km. from Agra towards Gwalior in a rural area as a Self-Finance College. The college has also started M.Ed. & B.T.C. Courses from 2008 & 2010 respectively. It is accredited by NAAC in 'B' grade with CGPA 2.31. It is affiliated to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra & SCERT, Lucknow and recognized by the NCTE and UGC under Act 1956.
The college has a well experienced teaching faculty of twenty two teachers, a qualified Head, and very adequate non-teaching supporting staff that also includes a qualified librarian.
The college follows the centralized admission policy. The information about the college and its vision, mission, goals and objectives are incorporated in a separate Website(www.sn-college.co.in). Besides having so many self financed colleges in U.P., our college attracts students with comparatively higher merit in qualifying examination.
Evaluation of student performance is done continuously through sessional tests and assignments. Internal practical work assessment is done throughout the year through charts, models and other activities.
The student support and progression of any teaching department depends on the strength of the system and efficiency developed within the department in terms of percentage of students successfully qualifying the examination. In view of that the results of the college during last eight years are progressive and normally reach every year more than 95%.
Faculty members provide guidance to the students for better adjustment and also in solving day to day problems. In the recreational fields the college has the provision for indoor & outdoor games and different cultural activities.
The college has also developed a feedback mechanism received orally from the old students as well as students of the current session. On the basis of feedback, corrective steps and appropriate measures are taken.
